We can’t get enough of this beautiful season – the amazing leaves in the prettiest colors, fall weather, cozy hats. Even though we are looking forward to skiing season, fall can still stay a little while longer!

Some weeks ago I took the girls to the Foothills for a little hike and picknick – they loved it! We were up there right when the sun set and enjoyed a great view (and some delicious treats from Janjou Patisserie).

What a fun birthday party at our friends’ place. As we were there right at sunset I had to snap a few pictures of the kids – and the birthday girl, of course! Once it got dark we had fireworks, just the right way to end the celebrations!

I love fall and absolutely wanted to take some photos of my girls – it’s a busy season and I’m doing lots of family sessions in fall, therefore photographing my own kids less and less. But once in a while I get out the big camera and hope they are in the mood for some photos....

I absolutely love photographing animals, so when I got the chance to take photos of our friend and her horse back home, I had to take it! Isn’t this a beautiful creature? And I guess there is no better match than girls and horses!
