Last weekend we had a little Oktoberfest party in our backyard. Lots of our German friends wore their traditional clothes, we had German food and – of course – beer!

We had friends from Germany visiting and together went for a little trip to the Oregon Coast. Our rental at the beach was just absolutely stunning and we spent an amazing week at the sea. The girls and the dog loved the beach and we all had such a great time together.

Our friends went to Hawaii for Spring Break and we got to keep their bird, George, while they were gone. The girls had a lot of fun with him, I guess we really have to get a pet one day.
