When I get asked what the biggest difference is between back home (I’m from Austria) and here, then I always tell them: “The food!” And if they keep asking about a difference in landscape, it’s definitely that back home it’s so much greener.
But see for yourself, here is a little overview of some of the sessions I did in Steyr (Austria) and Munich – and because it’s raining more frequently than here, it is so much greener. People don’t have sprinklers in their backyards, they don’t water the fields or use irrigation and canals, they wait for rain.
All the green is maybe a little harder to photograph, since it’s sometimes throwing a green cast on people – but it’s for sure a nice change for our eyes after a long, dry, Boise summer.
